If you do it because no one else will, it’s a job.

If you are doing it to serve the Lord, it’s a ministry.

If you do it just enough to get by, it’s a job.

If you do it to the best of your ability, it’s a ministry.

If you quit because someone criticized you, it was a job.

If you keep on serving, it’s a ministry.

If you quit because no one praised you, it was a job.

If you do it because you think it needs to be done, it’s a ministry.

It’s hard to get excited about a job.

It’s almost impossible not to get excited about a ministry.

Average churches are filled with many people, doing many jobs.

Great churches are filled with many people who are involved in ministry.

If your concern is success, it’s a job.

If your concern is faithfulness and service, it’s a ministry.

People may say, “Well done,” when you do your job.

The Lord will say, “Well done,” when you complete your ministry.

如果你去做，只是應付一下，那是工作。

如果你盡心盡力去做，那是服事。

如果你受人批評，就不做，那是工作。

如果你認為事情必須去做，那是服事。

一般的工作，你會覺得呆板、無聊。

服事上主，不可能不興奮。

一般的教會，有很多人在工作。

偉大的教會，卻充滿了熱心忠實、服事的人群。

如果你只希望後果成功，那是工作。

如果你希望的是忠誠服事主，那是服事。

當你把事情做好，人們會說：「你做得很好！」

當你服事完後，上主會向你說：「你服事得很好！」
