“My Prayer”

Our gracious and kind Father in Heaven,

thank you for the necessities that you have

given us, so that we have more than enough.

Thank you for the grace bestowed

upon us, so that we are saved through Christ.

Thank you for the peace and safety that you have

granted us through our daily paths of life.

We now humble ourselves before thy holiness,

for you have heard and answered our prayers.

We pray forgiveness for our sins,

for our transgressions,

for our imperfections.

We now lift up our worries to you,

O Lord,

for we are like dust before your holy eyes,

and are unable to bear the heavy yoke of misgivings.

We pray for the weak in body,

the weak in spirit.

We pray for the new and young Christians,

the older and mature Christians,

and those who have yet to receive the good news.

Finally, we pray for ourselves,

that we may grow in our faith, love, and hope.

We pray these things,

all in the glorious name of the Lord our God,

Jesus Christ, and Holy Sprit.

Amen.
