Keep us, O God, from all pettiness.

主啊，求您教我們不要吹毛求疵。

Let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.

讓我們在思想，言語和行為，寬大為懷。

Let us be done with faultfinding and leave off all self-seeking.

讓我們停止專找小毛病，及自求益處。

May we put away all pretenses and meet each other face to face,

without self-pity and without prejudice.

請讓我們扔開偽裝，專心待人；不自憐，不偏見。

May we never be hasty in judgment, and always be generous.

讓我們不匆促論斷，時時寬容。

Let us always take time for all things,

and make us to grow calm, serene and gentle.

求祢讓我們行事從容，冷靜，安詳而有禮。

Teach us to put into action our better impulses,

to be straightforward and unafraid.

請教導我們化衝勁為行動，勇往無懼。

Grant that we may realize

that it is the little things of life that create differences;

教我們瞭解在小事上，我們會有不同；

that in the big things of life, we are as one.

但在大事上，我們都是合一、團結。

And, O Lord God, let us not forget to be kind! Amen.
