一個死在他的寶座上；一個卻被釘在十字架上。

One died on his throne; the other was crucified on the cross.

一個好像死得轟轟烈烈；一個彷佛死得悽悽慘慘。

One looks like he died spectacularly; the other died as if pitifully.

一個統率萬軍，攻城掠陣；一個卻孤單一人，踽踽獨行。

One commanded ten thousand armed forces, attacked to plunder; the other was abandoned and walked alone.

One shed other people’s blood, founded his own empire; the other shed his own blood to saves the world.

When one was alive, he obtained the world, but after he died, he lost it all;

一個活著的時候，奉獻了自己的生命，死的時候，卻獲得了億萬萬人的心。

when the other was alive, he offered his own life, and when he died, he won hearts of countless people.

一個死在巴比倫；一個死在加略山。

One died in Babylon; the other died on Calvary hill.

一個為自己賺得一切；一個為別人獻出所有。

One earned everything for oneself; the other offered up all his possession for others.

一個征服了所有的王國；一個征服了所有的墳墓。

One has conquered all kingdoms; the other has conquered the grave.

一個是人，卻以為自己是神；一個是真神，卻降卑為人。

One is a person, but thought of oneself as god; the other is a true God, but humbled himself as a person.

一個活著，為征戰；一個活著，為祝福。

One lived to exploit; the other lived to bless.

亞歷山大死了，他的功業就此殞歿；

Alexander has died, his meritorious achievements perish in light of his death;

耶穌死了，卻又復活，成為萬王之王。

Jesus has died, actually resurrects, becomes kings of the ten thousand kings.

一個奴役人，作牛作馬；一個卻釋放人，得以自由。

One enslaved other people, treating them as animals; however, the other released people, giving them freedom.

一個把王座建立在血海之上；

One established his kingdom using bloodshed;

一個把寶座建立在和平與仁愛之中。

the other established his throne in peace and benevolence.

一個在地上升高；一個由聖城降卑。

One elevated an earthly kingdom; the other brought the holy kingdom to earth.

一個贏得屬世的榮華富貴，卻失去了屬天的福份；

One won the worldly splendor, riches and honor, but lost the heavenly blessing;

一個捨棄了天上地下所有的一切，卻統管萬有。

the other gave up everything in heaven and earth, but gained immeasurably more.

一個滅亡；一個長存。

One has perished; the other lived forever.

一個活著如曇花一現；一個活著如太陽光芒萬丈。

One life is like a flower appearing briefly; the other life is like the sunshine forever glorious.

一個費盡心思想要抓住一切，喪失了所有；

One thought of every means to get all he wants and lost it all;

一個盡心盡力獻出自己所有，卻贏得了萬有。

the other did his best to offer up himself entirely and won over millions.

一個死了，光芒盡失；一個死了，卻在人類歷史中，繼續展現復活的大能。

One has died, his glory faded; the other died, but in human history, power of the resurrection continues to unfold.

一個死了，好像從來沒有活過；一個死了又復活了，而且祂答應還要第二次再來！

One has died as if he has never lived; the other has died and resurrected, furthermore he said he would come again a second time!
