“God Always Answers Prayers”

當你的構想不對時，上帝說：「不行！」

When the idea is not right, God says, “No”

不行！如果那構想不是上好的；

No – when the idea is not the best.

不行！如果那構想是絕對錯誤的；

No – when the idea is absolutely wrong.

不行！如果那構想對你雖然有利，卻會造成別人的傷害。

No – when ‘though it may help you. It could create problems for someone else.

若上帝答應你所發的每一個指令，可能會產生怎樣的災難呢？

What a catastrophe it would be if God answered every prayer at the snap of your fingers.

上帝將變成你的僕人，而非主人。

God would become your servant, not your master.

結果是上帝為你工作，而非你為上帝工作。

Suddenly God would be working for you instead of you working for God

當時候不對時，上帝說：「暫緩！」

When the time is not right, God says, “Slow”

且記：上帝的遲延不等於上帝的拒絕

Remember: God’s delay is not God’s denials

上帝的時刻表是完美的

God’s timing is perfect

耐性是我們在禱告中所需要的

Patience is what we need in prayer

當你的光景不對時，上帝說：「長進！」

When you are not right, God says, “Grow”

自私的人要在無私上長進

The selfish person must grow in unselfishness

謹慎的人要在勇氣上長進

The cautious person must grow in courage

膽怯的人要在信心上長進

The timid person must grow in confidence

主控的人要在敏感上長進

The dominating person must grow in sensitivity

挑剔的人要在容忍上長進

The critical person must grow in tolerance

消極的人要在積極的態度上長進

The negative person must grow in positive attitudes

追求享樂的人要在憐憫受苦者上長進

The pleasure-seeking person must grow in compassion for suffering people

當一切都對了之後，上帝說：「行動！」

When everything is all right, God says, “Go”

於是神蹟發生－

Then miracles happen

無助的酒鬼獲得自由；

A hopeless alcoholic is set free

吸毒者得釋放；

A drug addict finds release

懷疑者成為信仰中的孩子；

A doubter becomes a child in his belief

患病的組織開始痊癒；

Diseased tissue responds to treatment, and healing begins

通往你夢想之門突然敞開，

The door to your dream suddenly swings open

上帝站在那裡，說：「行動！」

And there stands God saying, “Go!”
